Fenix Discounts Privacy Policy

Overview

Fenix Discounts is a Chrome extension from Fenix Dev Solutions that shows current discounts and launch offers for Fenix products. This policy explains what the extension accesses, what it stores, and how those permissions are used.

Information the extension accesses

The extension fetches public offer data from https://fenix-dev.solutions/api/discounts.json . This response may include product names, product URLs, discount codes, redemption notes, and discount expiration dates.

The extension does not ask users to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, payment details, browsing history, or page content.

Local storage

Fenix Discounts uses chrome.storage.local to store extension preferences and operational state on your device. This may include the selected language, whether new-project alerts are enabled, cached offer data for offline fallback, and which new project notifications have already been shown.

Permissions

• Storage: used to keep preferences, cached public offers, and notification state in chrome.storage.local.
• Notifications and alarms: used to check for new public offers and show optional browser notifications.
• Clipboard: used only when you choose to copy a discount code from the extension popup.
• Host access for fenix-dev.solutions: used to retrieve the public discounts endpoint.

Sharing and sale of data

Fenix Discounts does not sell personal data. The extension does not transmit personal information to Fenix Dev Solutions or to third parties.

Retention and user controls

Data stored by the extension remains in your browser unless you clear it, uninstall the extension, or reset extension storage. You can turn off new-project notifications from the extension popup when that control is available.
